For Art & Craft

My work in art and craft explores the relationship between form, function, and restoration. I design jewelry, make shoes, and restore vintage clothing which are all practices that celebrate craftsmanship, longevity, and sustainability. I offer personal styling for select clients who value individuality and dressing for joy. Whether I’m creating something new or restoring something with history, my focus is the same to make something timeless and that lasts.

As a maker

I’m a maker at heart. Working with my hands keeps me connected to materials, process, and the quiet discipline of craft. Two areas currently shape my creative practice.

Shoemaking

Shoemaking is an ongoing exploration of construction, design, and patience. Building footwear from the ground up has deepened my appreciation for the craftsmanship behind everyday objects.

Jewelry

I create handcrafted jewelry that explores texture, proportion, and understated beauty. Each piece begins with curiosity about form and evolves through experimentation and attention to detail.

My interest in clothing is rooted in the stories garments carry. Vintage, thrifted, and second hand pieces often reflect a level of craftsmanship, individuality, and durability that is difficult to find in modern fast fashion.

Searching for these pieces is part history, part sustainability, and part creative discovery. I’m drawn to garments that have lived a life before reaching me and that can continue to evolve with care and thoughtful styling.

This perspective has also shaped my approach to restoration and preservation. When possible, I repair and restore garments so they can continue to be worn and appreciated.

Personal styling

I offer personal styling for a limited number of clients in Central Washington who want to better understand and express their personal style.

Before we meet, I ask clients to choose five pieces from their closet they love and five they feel unsure about. These can be anything from a scarf to a jacket or pair of shoes.

Those pieces become the starting point for our conversation. Together we explore what works, what doesn’t, and what your goals are. Some clients want to style what they already own more effectively, others want to refine or rediscover their personal style, or create a wardrobe that better supports the life they live.

From there we identify the key elements that define your style so they can be applied across your wardrobe.

Personal styling is available by special request for clients in Central Washington for $250 for an hour and a half session.

Let’s create together.
